How volunteers opt in
Volunteers opt in through the VHub volunteer registration or profile notification workflow.
- The volunteer applies for or logs in to VHub.
- The volunteer enters their mobile phone number.
- The volunteer reviews the SMS consent language.
- The volunteer checks an optional SMS consent checkbox.
- The volunteer submits the form.
The SMS checkbox is optional and is not pre-checked.
Message frequency varies based on volunteer activity and event participation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
How SASP Diver contacts opt in
SASP Diver or parent/guardian contact information is added by staff only after consent is obtained directly from the SASP Diver or parent/guardian. The preferred event update contact is selected in the participant record before event-related text messages are sent.
These messages are limited to operational event communication for the participant’s assigned session or event.
Privacy and support
Mobile numbers and contact information are used only for The Scuba Gym operational communication and are not sold or shared for marketing.
