Weekly Therapy
Our weekly therapy sessions run on Monday and Wednesday mornings and evenings, year-round. These are ongoing SCUBA-based sessions designed to support comfort, skill development, and meaningful outcomes over time.
Every participant is different, so each session is customized around the individual’s needs, goals, comfort level, and current stage of progress in the water.
What weekly therapy can support
Weekly therapy gives families a consistent rhythm and gives participants repeated time in the water to work on goals that often cannot be addressed the same way on land.
Consistency
Routine sessions help participants become more comfortable, more confident, and more willing to try new things in the water.
Individualized goals
Sessions can be built around movement, breathing control, body awareness, focus, communication, confidence, or water comfort.
Meaningful progress
We use the weightless environment to support real gains that can carry into everyday life, not just a fun pool session.
What families can expect
A supportive first conversation
We start by learning about the participant, the goals, the support needs, and what a good first step would look like.
A pace that fits the person
Some participants need time to get comfortable. Others are ready to move quickly. We build around the individual rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all pace.
A path that can grow over time
Weekly therapy can stay focused on support and comfort, or it can grow into skill-building, confidence, and even future diving goals as the participant is ready.
A good next step
If you think weekly therapy might be the right fit, reach out and tell us about the participant, the goals, and any scheduling questions you already have. We will help you understand the best next step from there.
