Special Needs Camps
Our camps are built around fun, community, confidence, and supportive SCUBA-based activities. These camps give participants and families a chance to experience the mission of The Scuba Gym in a more immersive and memorable way.
We typically focus camp opportunities around spring break in March and summer in June, while building each experience around the needs of the participants involved.
What camps are built around
Camp days are designed to feel encouraging, joyful, and safe while still creating real opportunities for growth in the water.
Fun and community
Participants get to experience water-based activities in a setting that feels welcoming, social, and full of encouragement.
Confidence and progress
Camp is more than an event. It creates moments where participants try new things, stretch into new abilities, and discover what they can do.
Supportive staffing
Sessions are led by caring, experienced SCUBA Instructors and trained assistants who understand how to support special needs participants in the water.
What this page will continue to grow into
Upcoming camp details
As camp dates are posted, this page can share the next available opportunities and direct families to the right registration steps.
Recaps and highlights
Photos, video, and recap moments from past camps can live here too, so families can see the kind of experience these camps create.
A stronger family resource
This page is meant to become a clearer home for camp information over time instead of asking families to piece it together from scattered posts or messages.
A good next step
If camp sounds like a good fit, reach out and let us know the participant’s age, the season you are thinking about, and any support needs we should know from the start.
