Nitrox
Nitrox (Enriched Air) lets many divers extend bottom time and reduce nitrogen loading—especially helpful on repetitive dives and dive trips. You’ll learn how to plan and dive using enriched air mixtures (21% up to 40% oxygen). We only offer the complete Nitrox certification, and not just a basic "computer Nitrox" certification. Ask and know the differance.
Prerequisites
Typically requires an Open Water certification (or current enrollment in an entry-level scuba course). We’ll confirm what you need based on your current training.
What You’ll Learn
Choosing the right mix for your dive, understanding oxygen exposure, determining your Maximum Operating Depth (MOD), the best EAN% for the depth your diving. analyzing your cylinders, labeling/verification habits, and how to conduct a dive and make on site correction to your Dive plan.
What to Expect
This is a complete Nitrox certification a eLearning/classroom/knowledge + practical skills course (analyzing tanks and planning). One dive using a Nitrox plan must be completed.
