Nitrox
Nitrox (Enriched Air) lets many divers extend bottom time and reduce nitrogen loading—especially helpful on repetitive dives and dive trips. You’ll learn how to plan and dive safely using enriched air mixtures (commonly up to 40% oxygen).
Prerequisites
Typically requires an Open Water certification (or current enrollment in an entry-level scuba course). We’ll confirm what you need based on your current training.
What You’ll Learn
Choosing the right mix for your dive, understanding oxygen exposure, determining your Maximum Operating Depth (MOD), analyzing your cylinder, labeling/verification habits, and setting your dive computer correctly for enriched air.
What to Expect
This is often a classroom/knowledge + practical skills course (analyzing tanks and planning). Dives may be optional depending on how you want to apply the training.
